Wedding Planning Information

What do I need to know before contacting the Hotel?

• Date & Time of the wedding (alternative dates if your preferred date is not available)
• Attendance - number of people expected for the event
• Budget - an estimated budget planned for the event

How far in advance should I reserve the date?

We recommending reserving your date at least 1 year in advance but should you have an auspicious date, we suggest booking your special day earlier to ensure availability.

What is the minimum attendance required for a wedding celebration?

• There is a minimun of 60 tables of 10 persons of 600 persons in the Grand Ballroom
• There is a minimum of 10 tables of 10 persons each (100 persons) at each of the following function rooms (Millenia 1 & Chihuly Room) with a maximum of 15 tables of 10 persons (150 persons)

What if my attendance fall between 150 persons to 600 persons?

You may consider having a lunch reception instead.  The wedding lunch packages requires a minimum attendance of 250 persons and the function may be in the Grand Ballroom as well.

What are the deposits based on and when are they due?

Deposits are based on anywhere from 25% - 100% of the combined food and beverage minimum, plus the rental fees for the event space reserved. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• 10% of the total anticipated revenue is required upon confirmation of event.
• A further non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total anticipated revenue is required on or before 6 months prior to the wedding.
• A final non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total anticipated revenue is required on or before 1 month prior to the wedding.

Will the hotel provide the wedding cake?

Our Pastry Chef will be delighted to work with you on designing your special cake.

Can I bring in my own wines?

A corkage fee of $30.00 SGD nett per bottle of wine and $40.00 SGD nett per bottle of hard liquor applies. Please note that all hard liquor, wines, champagne brought into the Hotel must be duty paid and fully sealed. The Hotel reserves the right not to serve duty-free and/or opened bottles.
